Faktai apie HMB (Clayton South)

HMB – beta-hidroksi beta-metilbutiratas (angl. beta-hydroxy beta-methylbutyrate) trumpinys. Tai yra naujas ir įdomus papildas, kuris tampa vis populiaresnis visame pasaulyje.  HMB yra sudedamoji dalis leucino, vienos svarbiausių mūsų kūnui amino rugšties. HMB mažais kiekiais yra randamas daugelyje valgių, tokių kaip: greipfrutai, katžuves ir kt.

Kaip veikia HMB? Ir kokiais mokslinių tyrimu įrodymais tai paremta?

Neseniai atliktas mokslinis tyrimas parodė jog, žmonių grupė, vartojusi HMB po 3 gramus kasdien tris savaites, padidino savo jėgą štangos spaudime tris kartus daugiau, nei žmonių grupė, kuriai buvo duodamas atsitiktinis plecebas. Tyrimai atlikti su gyvūnais taip pat parodė, jog HMB vartojimas gali padidinti liesą raumenų masę. Žmonių atveju paremti tyrimai taip pat nustatė, jog vartojusieji HMB padidino jėgą,  įgavo ištvermės ir sumažino kūno riebalų kiekį.

HMB pagalba padidėjusi ištvermė rodo neįtikėtinus rezultatus. Atliktas septynių savaičių trukmės tyrimas parodė, jog 28 atletų grupė treniruodamasi pagal paprasta sunkumų programą, akivaizdžiai padidino raumenų masę, vartojant HMB. Kaip HMB visą tai padaro? Pasirodo, jog šis papildas padeda aprūpinti raumenis baltymais, bei stabdo katabolinus veiksnius mūsų kūnuose.

Buvo atliktas naujas tyrimas dviejų Brazilijos universitetų su subjektais, kurie turėjo aukštą cholesterolio lygį (12 pagryvenusių vyriškių nuo 50 iki 72 metų). Vieni iš jų vartojo HMB 3 gramus per dieną keturias savaites, o kietiems buvo duodamas placebas. Viso šio tyrimo metu, visi vyrai treniravosi penkias dienas per savaitę- tris iš jų atliekant aerobinius pratimus ir dvi treniruotes su svoriais. Buvo pastebėta jog vyrai, vartojantys HMB, drastiškai sumažino “LDL” arba kitaip tariant “blogąjį cholesterolį” bei sulaukė stebinančio jėgos ir liesos raumenų masės prieaugio.

Placebo grupė nesulaukė jokiu pasikeitimų cholesterolio ir liesos raumenų masės atžvilgiu,nors padidino jėgą treniruočių programos dėka. Tai viską įrodo! HMB vartojimas puikiai padeda auginti liesą raumenų masę bei jėgą, daug greičiau nei nevartojant HMB. Taip pat gali  sumažinti “blogojo cholesterolio” kiekį kol yra vartojamas.

Kam reikia HMB? Ir kokie yra jo trūkomo požymiai?

HMB reikia vartoti praktiškai visiems, kurie nori patirti nuostabų raumenų augimo efektą. HMB trūkumas nėra problema, tačiau treniruojantis jėgai ar metant svorį jis puikiai praverčia. HMB yra saugus ir vyrams ir moterims.

Kokiomis procijomis reiktų šį papildą vartoti? Ar yra pašliniu poveikių vartojant HMB?

L-Taurine

Taurine is a trophic factor in CNS development. It is involved in several physiological actions in the brain, including neuroprotection, osmoregulation and neurotransmission. Mucuna Pruriens

Containing an alkaloid which is a precursor to the neurotransmitter dopamin, it stimulates the hypothalamus and pituitary to release and increases the level of hypothalamic growth hormone-releasing hormone. Dopamine regulates the immune function which is vital as excessive ingestion of stimulants reduces the body’s immunity via production of cortico-adrenal insufficiency. L-DOPA also protects against dopamine neuronal cell death and increased the number and branching of neurite processes.

Trimethylglycine (TMG)

Also known as Betaine Anhydrous, it supports cardiovascular function by lowering homocysteine levels. It does this by donating its methyl group to a molecule of homocysteine, converting it to the  non-toxic amino acid, methionine and then into S-adenosyl-methionine (SAMe). This increase in SAMe however was the primary inclusion of TMG in Turbo due to it being a nonspecific antidepressant. This may help to inhibit the depressive state many encounter when taking potent stimulants.

Agmatine Sulfate

A vasodilator that is included to counteract the vasoconstrictive effects of stimulant usage. Most notably help alleviate erectile dysfunction that many experience when supplementing with potent stimulants.  It also modulates nitric oxide, a molecule used by macrophages. As mentioned earlier, Turbo increases dopamine levels, which in turn is a precursor to norepinephrine and epinephrine, (adrenaline). Adrenaline suppresses the nitric oxide response of macrophages. Macrophages are a type of white blood cell that ingest and destroy bacteria. They also clear cellular debris such as dead cells that contain microbes, such as bacteria or viruses. Caffeine works by blocking adenosine receptors in the brain. Adenosine is a central nervous system neuromodulator that has specific receptors. When adenosine binds to its receptors, neural activity slows down, and you feel sleepy.  As caffeine reduces the ability of adenosine to bind to the receptors, the natural “braking” action of adenosine is inhibited, and neural activity therefore speeds up.

The stimulated nerve cells then release the hormone epinephrine (adrenaline), which increases blood flow to muscles, improving the transportation of oxygen throughout the body, enhancing performance. Caffeine also increases levels of the neurotransmitter dopamine, enhancing cognitive functioning capabilities and neuromuscular coordination.

L-Theanine is an amino acid which is known to block the binding of L-glutamic acid to glutamate receptors in the brain.
